The second leg of our "Rock n Shoal tour" last night was a blast. The scene was Shoal Bay Country Club on the coast about 45 minutes north of Newcastle. The area was pumping with holiday makers, people everywhere! We hoped that this vibe would extend to our gig ..and we were not disappointed.

The venue was packed ! A 1000 punters through the door ensured it was a night to remember. It was bloody hot as well and the band were dripping sweat from very early in the set. Why even the ever cool Brent was slightly moistened !! The massive crowd were in party mode and did well to stay with us as the temperature rose on what was a bloody hot day anyway.

Thanks to the management for their hospitality ..( maybe crank the air up a bit more next time๐Ÿ˜„) and a big thanks to everyone who came along for some live music and for making us a part of your holiday festivities..love your work!

We were bushed after the show, but happy that we had pulled such a huge crowd. It's a great venue, recently reno-ed and very stylish. Hope we can get up that way again in the not too distant future.
Cheers , The Rads

Hi Folks, first gig for 2018 and it was a cracker! With our mates from Spy v Spy performing a ripper set , it made for a good night for the big crowd that turned up at the Shoalhaven Heads bowlo.

Thanks to everyone who came along and obviously enjoyed it. It was good to be playing again and we felt quite refreshed after a 3 week break. We are ready to rip and tear again and already the Rads have quite a few shows locked in for the new year.

It looks like business as usual for the band ,and we couldn't be happier as we enter into our 40 th year celebrations. ( time bloody flys when you're havin' fun !!) We hope also that we get to a few more areas this year and visit those good peoplewho are screaming out for the Rads to come play their neck of the woods. Rock n Roll on 2018 !!

Cheers from The Radiators.

The Radiators added an event.

AUSSIE band The Radiators is a rock'n'roll survivor, celebrating nearly 40 years in the music industry.

Formed in a transition from a band called Big Swifty, The Radiators forged a unique sound and influenced thousands of teenagers throughout Australia after debuting in Sydney in September 1978.

After embarking on a formidable performing schedule - playing more than 320 gigs in the first 12 months, the boys soon came to the attention of major record companies and were signed to Warner Bros. in late 1979.

The Radiators have since carved a niche in the annals of Australian rock history, sharing the stage with all the great Aussie acts such as AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Rose Tattoo and INXS.

With more than 4000 shows to their credit, the Radiators have played the music to an estimated three million people in Australia, recorded more than 100 original songs with two albums being awarded platinum status, two achieving gold and with a host of good records with sales totalling over 1 million units.

The Radiators, colloquially referred to as "The Rads" haven't slowed up one bit. It's generally conceded by plenty of Australian music proponents, that the band is likely to be, still to this day, Australia's hardest working rock band.
